The problems with GUYS:

If you TREAT him nicely, he says you are IN LOVE with him.
If you Don't, he says you are PROUD.

If you DRESS Nicely, he says you are trying to LURE him.
If you Don't, he says you are from KAMPUNG.

If you ARGUE with him, he says you are STUBBORN.
If you keep QUIET, he says you have no BRAINS.

If you are SMARTER than him, he'll lose FACE.
If he's Smarter than you, he is GREAT.

If you don't Love him, he tries to POSSESS you.
If you Love him, he will try to LEAVE you.

If you don't make love with him., he says you don't Love him.
If you do!! he says you are CHEAP.

If you tell him your PROBLEM, he says you are TROUBLESOME.
If you don't, he says that you don't TRUST him.

1. Talking too much about 'me, me, me'
One of the number one terror dates on guys' list are women who talk non-stop about themselves - their interests, their work, their dreams, their vacation, their shopping. Women who hog the conversation are not only displaying impoliteness and lack of consideration, but are also ultimate bores - who really cares about your latest handbag spree or your blotched hair perm job 2 years ago?

2. Asking too personal questions
Are you scaring your date with inappropriate questions? As crazy as it might sound, some women actually start asking questions like "When do you plan on getting married?" or "How many women have you slept with?" on the first date. Questions of a personal nature can embarrass the guy and put him in a spot. Stop interrogating him like a felon and stick to more general questions, such as his interests instead.

3. Being a picky eater
Unless your date is on a diet himself (and most guys aren't), he won't understand what your fussing about food is all about. Every man likes a woman with a hearty appetite: It translates into a passion for life and an enthusiasm for all things enjoyable. So even if you're on a diet, give yourself a break while you're with him; don't give him the impression that you're just another body-conscious girl who is so paranoid about gaining that one pound.

4. Being late
Sadly, some women have the misconception that being fashionably late is cool. While being 5 minutes late is forgivable, making the poor bloke wait for 15 minutes or longer is downright rude (unless you have a valid reason). When you are this late on your date, you'll send out the wrong message - that he's not worth your effort to be punctual - even if you don't mean it. And your tardiness is going to spoil any special plans he has made for the evening. If you have a tendency to be late, do make the effort to get ready earlier and be on time.

5. Too much emotional baggage
Your past failed relationships are never a good subject to touch on, especially on the first few dates. Unloading all your emotional baggage - what you did with your ex, how he cheated on you are, etc - on someone you barely know (and who has a potential to be your next guy) is an instant turn-off.

6. 'I'm too posh for you'
Even if you think you are too good for your date, never show or say it out blatantly. It's extremely rude to tell your date that he's beneath your usual standards.

7. Always on the phone
While it's okay to answer phone calls during a date, switching your mobile phone to vibration mode would ensure that you have an uninterrupted time with him. It's utterly impolite, however, when you constantly answer your calls to talk at length and ignore him completely. Worse, if your calls are from your nosy girlfriends asking how your date went, don't bitch about your poor date on the phone.

8. Acting too desperate
Your biological clock is ticking away and you're feeling the pressure to start a real relationship? Even so, take things slow. Appearing desperate to settle down will freak any guy out, especially when you start talking about your dream wedding ceremony, when you plan to get married and how many babies you want on your first date. After your date, even if there's some chemistry going on between the two of you, don't call him that very night. Act interested, but not too much. Or better yet, wait for him to call you instead.

9. Being drunk
A little alcohol to loosen you up for a bit of flirting is hot, but getting tipsy isn't. Burping, losing your poise and throwing up isn't exactly the prettiest portrayal of yourself, so do drink in moderation.

10. Not being yourself
Trying to be someone you think he will like - instead of being yourself - is one of the most common dating mistakes: If you can't convince yourself that you're attractive, how can you convince your date that you deserve him? When you attempt to hide your real self beneath a facade, not only are you deceiving your date, you're deluding yourself too. And your date will usually see right through it anyway and be turned off by your insincerity and lack of self-confidence

Top Ten Mistake make by Girl during Dating
But the frank some of the mistake guy also make..

Signal Institute:
Those who were there before should know.
When doing prowling on guard duties, the stray dogs within the camp are really very irritating and a nuisance, and sometimes need to use lights to flash them so as to drive them away. There're people who even said that some of the stray dogs spotted, were actually phantom dogs, not actual dogs.....

The unoccupied floor, which is the 5th/6th floor (most top floor before the roof), one of the bunks and sometimes the corridor's light will always auto on itself when its 9pm, or sometimes at the wee hours in the morning.
One of the bunks (light auto on 1), believed to be unoccupied, is very tidy when my friend and I tried peeking into it from outside (stepping someone to overlook into the bunk of course).
Description was: 2 beds, both at different ends of the whole bunk.
Neatly folded shirts, uniforms, towels on the beds.
Fans and lightings were on all the time.
Well, thats my own account, who knows, maybe there ARE really other people living in the bunk, just that they made up the story and scare ppl from disturbing them ...

?SIG BN, J????G Camp (? Division):
COS Terror 1... of course, this happens to my coy when I was at the unit.
Of all the COS duties done by those whom I knew, all told me this incident that whenever they are doing COS duties in the coy, plus no other personnels were in the coy or camp except the various COSs, such as weekends or public holidays or Block Leaves. The COSs in my coy, will always sniff a super, pungent smell, or rather a stench from dont know where.
Cant really detect the source of the smells, so they endured with it and prayed nothing else happens till someone take over them the next day.
In addition, other than the pungent smells, there is also this funny hot and warm feeling throughout the whole company, even at night.
These kind of things never happens when e whole company is around.
Also, although the stench might come from dead rats, area cleanings were done very often, & toilets, bunks were all clean everyday by external cleaners, can't say that the people living there never clear e dead rats right?

COS Terror 2 ...
This happened around 2, 3 months ago from now.
The coy opposite mine, the COS was another one of my friends, and was doing the COS duty in his coy ...
nothing happened until after midnight.
He went back to his bunk to get something, and of course to get a little sleep in his own comfortable bed and Zzzzz..
After he woke up, and was ready to raise the flag the next morning, he went back to the company office to get the flag ....
to his surprise, he found that the radio he had left on for the whole night, was turned off.
Thats the funny part, the office's doors and windows were locked, no one other than the COS himself has the key to unlock it ...
then who the hell off the radio?
Feeling something amissed, he quickly went off to raise the flag, then came back and pack his things and after the next COS took over him, he just ran off out of the camp almost immediately...
To add on, I was so 'lucky' to hear from them because during each of the COS incidents, I was doing duties too, but not COS though.
They just called me to say that they suspected that those things are playing pranks ....
what can I do?
Laugh at them?

A pygmy tarsier, captured this summer on Indonesia's Mount Rorekatimbo, hardly makes a handful. Some scientists had thought the species was extinct.

Out of sight for 30 years, blue whales were spotted in 2004 off Prince William Sound, Alaska. Federal scientists caught a glimpse of the largest-known animal living on Earth. After being hunted commercially for a century, these endangered creatures came under government protection in 1965. Sightings of the blue behemoths are signs that their population may be turning healthier.

White buffalo Chances of a white buffalo being born are at least 1 in the millions, says Jim Matheson, assistant director of the National Bison Association. Defying all odds, the same Wisconsin farm had three of this rare breed. This male calf, whose coat turned darker with age, was born in 2006. All buffalo were uncommon for a long time, but now their population has beefed up to about 250,000.

those who been to ns sure know about no night trainings on thursday nights right?
reason being thursday nights are the night where malay ghosts will come out and roam..
and so..
the incident happen..
is the second day of our range..
at a 300m distance range at 8 plus 9 plus..
it was the reshoot of those who failed to zero-ed their weapon..
my coy mate went in to the 100m spot..
he was squating behind waiting for his turn..
suddenly he felt a presence..
he turn to his side and saw a floating head of an old man..
immediately he turn to the front..
shortly after..
it was his turn..
he went up to the spot and prone down..
not long after he prone down..
he saw it again..
this time appearing in front of him..
my coy mate manage to finish up everything and proceed to leaving the range..
he was running very fast out of the range and in tears..
later all the sergeants asked why is he in tears and he managed to say out and was calmed by the sergeants..

another story..
Alpha coy.
It was a Friday, which meant it was booking out day for most of us.
I had to stay back as it was my turn to take care of the OB.
2 of us stayed behind as it was the usual practice for 2 people to stay behind for OB.
There was nothing much to do other than burning the time away until the next day when the next pair will take over.
We played a few games of carrom and was about to turn in for the night when we heard people marching outside.
We didn't really think much about it until we realised that it was about 2am and it was a Friday. There should be no one else in camp.
Out of curiosity, we just stuck our head out of the window and saw about 40 people marching slowly towards the mess.
The thing that really freaked us out and hide in a corner wasn't the fact that they were marching slowly, but the fact that they were in khaki colored clothing and were mumbling in Japanese.
We didn't dare speak of it to the next guys as we didn't want them to freak out as we did.

Story from CCK Camp
After BMT, I was posted to School of Signals at Stagmont Camp for 7 weeks of Basic Signaler Course.
Camp was an eye-opener as it was like a holiday camp compared to the crummy SBMT (well, I have another one on that) where I came from.
OK, as signalers, we have to go through radio and line course.
Line means that we use field telephones instead of mobile radio sets.
The most difficult part is to "lay the line" as we call it - basically run from point A to B and connect 2 telephones while making sure we give enough slack for maintenance.
In Line training, there is this exercise to lay it in built-up areas, which is basically a building.
Off we went on a short ride to this abandoned govt blocks in Chua Chu Kang.
It was an afternoon.
We were split into 12 teams and 2 teams are tasked to lay line all the way to the 6th floor of each abandoned building by entering from the two staircase entrances located at each side of the building.
To my best recollection, there were 6 blocks, 5 together and an isolated one about 50 meters away down a slope.
My team together with another were bloody unfortunate to be tasked to lay Block 6 - yup, the isolated one.
Was not so much about goblins and ghosts then but for the fact that each team is timed on their mission and the last team has to do push ups on the hot ground full of sands and stones - a real bummer. We had to work faster.
I was detachment-in-charge and my responsibility was to run as fast as I can to the block, run up the stairs to the 6th floor, cist the cable and connect it to the phone, check communications and run back to report with my mates.
The other 2 of my mates have the responsibility of covering up the line and allow enough slack. As I ran like hell up the stairs, something made me look back at the corner on the 4th floor.
I saw nothing.
When I reached the 6th floor and started working with my pliers, I heard a female voice talking in the empty rooms.
Pressed for time, I was not thinking much about it.
But as I was finishing my job, the talking which I could not make out what was said as they were kind of mumblings, grew louder and it sounded like that female was losing an argument (you know how they are).
Next thing I heard was a loud bang, exactly like slamming of a door.
What made me froze for 3 seconds was that several other doors also slammed shut one after another.
At that point, I have finished my job, and ran downstairs by jumping each staircase from the 2nd or 3rd step.
I didn't say anything because not being the last detachment to report back took almost priority for me.
When the exercise was almost done, we needed to collect back the field telephone and cables.
I kind of suggested to my mates that we should share the work and one of them should go up and claim these items.
(Yup, I'm that kind of dude then).
We went back to camp, returned the stores and waited for dinner.
I still didn't tell anyone.
In the bunk, I was sitting on the floor opposite this guy from the team that was laying the line at the other end of block 6.
Thinking back, they had a rawer deal as their staircase entrance was facing the woods while mine was facing the command centre.
Anyway, this guy look real pale and green.
Then I sprang my questions.
"Did you lay block 6?",
"Did you hear any woman's voice?"
The guy looked at me and was totally shocked out of his pants!
He couldn't speak for at least 1 min and then told me his story.
When we were collecting back the equipment, this dude was unsure if his detachment ic was upstairs doing it, so he ventured upstairs to look for him.
While he was at halfway between the 5th and 6th floor staircase, he called out the ic's name and got a female voice replying "Wo zai ze li" (I am here).
Straightaway he dashed back downstairs.
We tried to analyze and rationalize it because it was broad daylight (sunny and hot) and we had a female instructor present during the exercise.
But all the time she was at the command post.
Could it be a human hiding in the rooms?
Finally, we approached our female sergeant (instructor) and told her our experience.
She confirmed that she was at the command post all the time and the blocks are vacant.
Later that evening, she revealed that we were not the only ones that "complained" about it. Apparently, previous platoons also encountered unexplained things there.
After this event, the place was not used for any future line training exercises.
The story did not end...

1992 - I was in a unit and involved in this big division exercise just before my ROD.
My unit was in Tekong and I had ultra sinang duties.
With nothing to do at night, I sat around a bunch of store man and drivers listening to ghost stories.
There was this driver that said that during his teenage days, they like to peep at lovers making out at night.
One of the hotspots then was a bunch of abandoned govt blocks in Chua Chu Kang.
But there was one incident whereby this girl was ditched by the boyfriends and she hung herself in one of the rooms.
I couldn't believe what I have heard!
Immediately, I asked him to describe the place...
it was the same BLOCK 6!!!

Is it really the Sad girl soul still remain at block 6?
But why did she have to answer 'I am here!'
when the guy shout out his IC's name..

Ghost Sounds in Nee Soon Camp

I was in an instructor in Nee Soon Camp back in 1989 to 1990.
At that time I was a corporal in Camp One, Hotel Company, a 3 storey building at the edge of the parade square. Behind our building lies a deep ravine that winds its way to the Mandai Columbarium some distance away.
Nee Soon was a training camp for young army recruits, who must spend their first 3 months in basic military training before deployment into their active 2 or 2 and a half year of military service.
I was in platoon 20, and my bunk was on the 3rd floor.
2 staircases at both end served the building, and my bunk was the first room at the left staircase. A long corridor ran from one end of the staircase to the other, and right in the middle, runs another corridor that lead at right angle to the toilet and bathing points. On both sides of that corridor were placed two rolls of broomsticks, and the WCs and Urinals is divided on the right, with the shower points to the left.
I remember that on that night, the recruits were given the night off, but I stayed behind, and was trying to sleep.
Directly below me, on the second floor, was the Muslim Prayer Room, where some Muslim recruits, together with my fellow Corporal Tahir, stayed behind too, and they were chatting inside.
Halfway through my sleep I was disturbed by some ‘thumping’ sound.
I chose to ignore it till I realise that it was coming from my metal cupboard.
As soldiers we were all issued with a single bed and a single doored metal cupboard.
It was a repetition of just 2 thumps at a time.
“Thump Thump” I raised up my head and looked at the cupboard.
“Thump Thump”, There it went again.
I got up and step closer to my cupboard, and peered nearer. “Thump Thump”..
This time I heard the noise coming not from my cupboard, but from further away.
It would seem to have come from the toilet.
I walked out of my room to the corridor.
“Thump Thump” The sound seem to have got louder.
As I walked along the corridor I heard the sound even more clearer.
Yes..
it was definitely coming from the toilet.
I turned into the middle corridor.
As I approached the toilet, passed the racks of broomsticks I could not hear anything.
I walked into the row of shower points and peeped into each compartments.
Nothing.
I walked over to the other side and checked out the wcs and urinals.
Nothing.
I then commenced to take a leak at the urinal.
Just then, exactly infront of me, behind the wall where the shower points were, came a very loud “Thump! Thump!”
I ran as fast as my 1.6m tall frame could ran, down the long corridor, pass my bunk, to the second storey, and into the Muslim Prayer Room where Corporal Tahir and the other recruits were chatting away.
“Shhhh… Listen!” I told them.
They listened.
“Thump Thump”… “What’s that?” Some one asked.
It was coming from above. I told them it was from the toilets.
Then the whole lot of us went out to investigate.
We crept up the staircase to the 3rd floor..
“Thump Thump” … The sounds booming loudly in maybe 5 seconds interval as we walked pass my bunk down the hall.
Then just as we turned into that corridor the sounds stopped.
Feeling scared we took up the broomsticks from the racks and proceeded to investigate.
We scoured all the compartments.
Finding nothing, we walked back, replaced the broomsticks, and turned back into the corridor.
“Thump Thump” The sound came back the second we turned.
We all ran down the corridor, down the staircase and into the Muslim Prayer Room.
After some agitated discussion (which I forgotten what) Corporal Tahir asked me to sleep and stay there with them. I agreed.
However, after awhile, egged by very sleepy eyes, and noisy racket of languages I don’t understand, I told them that I would go back to my bunk and sleep.
As I lay back on my bed, I heard it again…
“Thump Thump” This time it was quite faint…
and looking out of my window, as I looked down into the dark ravine I heard it again……
it was coming from the ravine.
As I continue staring I heard the sounds again in maybe 10 seconds pauses, “Thump Thump” …. The sound seemed fainter and further away with its thumping..
as it disappear eventually in the direction of mandai Columbarium.
Tired out, I think I collapsed immediately into bed and slept.

2003 BMT SCH 1
was in the company opposite charlie coy..
heard alot of the story about the charlie coy female with baby but never see before but had 2 incidents that i still cannot find an explaination for.
1st incident the whole company was sitting in the chin up bar area and facing the empty parade square between delta and charlie coy..
our warrent officer was giving a talk on something..
the whole charlie coy was away in outfield or something, but a landrover was left parked in the parade square...
all of a sudden while the encik was talking..
the landrover suddenly came alive by itself..
meaning you could the engine starting and the headlights coming.. thereafter the horn started blaring..
my warrent officer without even turning ard just shouted something loudly that sounded like a vulagrity and the landrover became silent again..
there was no waythe engine could start itself when there was no one in sight in the near vicinity of the rover..
when we asked the encik later..
he clammed up and refuse to talk about it..
we suspect that it wasnt the first time and its was spirit trying to be funny and the encik scared it away being very fierce about it..
2nd incidentit was abt 1 week before we pass out from btm..
and its was lights out was just called by the company ic..
me and my buddy was walking back from the toilet to our bunk when we saw this guy A in our section still talking to another guy from another section at the watercooler..
soon after as i lie in my bed ( i was in bed 11 and my buddy in bed 12, the nearest 2 bed to to the door) i saw A coming in distinctively hear the door closed after him, i then saw A fiddling with his cupboard..
there after the door open again but no one came in, as the door open towards my side..
i thought it was A friend waiting for him to pass him something and he was just standing behind the door..
but mins went past and still no one came in or say anything..
meanwhile A had gone to bed..
suddenly the door just closed by itself as though someone had left the room..
and since we had left the window open..
we could definitely see if anyone had walk past to open or close door but there was nobody there at all!!!
and if u have stay in those btm bunk..
u would know that the door its rather heavy and just wind alone would not have caused the door to open by itself..
and even if the wind was strong enough, in order to open the door u still had to turn the door handle..

SISPEC
tekong
I think tekong now no more SISPEC but during the good old days SISPEC was located in yr so call rocky hill..
being a typical soldier boy..
i would bring in tons of snacks when i book in on sunday..
so i notice a peculiar thing..
it felt like someone was stealing my snacks..
at first i thought it my section mate till one particular incident, i had brought in mini packets of M& M and those wang wang biscuit..
i locked up the stuff in my metal cabinet drawer that next day we went out a navi exercise which lasted the entire day..
and when i came back that day..
i found 1 packet of M&M had been torn open and some of the m&M had bite marks on it.. similary one packet of wang wang have been torn open and 1 of the biscuits was half eaten..
at first i suspect it could have been rats..
but after turning out my entire cupboard,i found no way that a rat could have crawl into my cupboard..
furthermore how the rat climb into the drawer??
anyway this happen a few more times even when i put the food into a plastic bag..
the plastic bag would remain undamaged but the packets of food/sweet would always been bitten..
anyway to solve the problem..
i always leave one packet of whatever i have at the bottom of my cupboard..
thereafter..
whatever it was left my food alone..
another incident that happen was on our defense exercise, throughout the entire night that my platoon were digging our trenches..
we heard voices chanting in malay all around us..
its was hard to pinpoint where the sound was coming from as the chanting were coming from all around us..
for the first hr, all my hair were standing up but after awhile u get used to it..
too tired to feel anyting..
but somehow i tink the enciks know that the noises were harmless that is why they purposely bring us there..

Who would have eaten his food..
Who is chanting in the middle of the night..

- Another unknown COY:
This particular Coy in tekong bmt, a certain platoon and a certain bunk..
This bunk will always leave 1 of the beds empty, no one is allowed to sleep on that bed..
Well of course, the old birds knew the story, but as one by one, the old birds ORDed, posted out, etc..
less and less people remember or even heard of the story of that empty bed..
Then there came one day when a new batch of those silly recruits came and became the occupants of that bunk..
One "sway ka" took that BED and slept all the way..
It was when after don't how many weeks or might be even the 1st nite (unsure), that something happened...
The night was young..
that recruit was sleeping on THAT bed..
Sleeping so soundly when suddenly he felt super cold..
As all NSF people know, in BMT, most of the wooden cabinets were put infront of the bed itself.
So, when that recruit was being waken up so abruptly, he immediately opened his eyes and saw a ghostly figure, all in white, sitting on the wooden cabinet, looking deep at him, just stared at him all the way..
Of course, the recruit was so shocked, that he also stared at that white figure for a little while before realising what had happened..
So he pretend not to see IT, and slowly took his blanket and cover himself, from head to toe, and keep shivering while mumbling prayers until he fell asleep till the next morning..
after that, didn't really know what happen to that recruit already, but surely after a 1 night's scare, confirm he won't sleep on that bed, or even in the bunk already..

-Unknown coy:
I think I might as well elaborate on the dreaming story that I've mentioned but never tell yet above..
There was this particular coy and platoon and bunk..
well, the recruits were all told that no matter where 1 goes, their buddies should accompany him whether be it to toilet, to smoke or wadever.
So this particular night, recruit A want to go urine, and remembering what was told to him by his commanders, he tried waking up his already asleep buddy, recruit B to accompany him to the toilet..
But no matter how he push and pull, B wouldn't wake up..
Since A's quite urgent, he couldn't care less about anyone accompanying him, so he just dash straight towards the toilet ...
To add in, that particular floor's toilet cubicle, one of them is always closed, but not locked, whereas the others were fine.
When he reached the toilet, after he has urinated, he saw that cubicle's door closed again .. "KNN always closed 1, that door" don't why, but A was always angered by the cubicle's door frequent closing..
So after opening the door and look inside for a few secs, he walked back to his bunk and slept..
The next morning when they all woke up, B told his buddy A if he made a trip to the toilet the night before..
A answered "yea, but U were sleeping, course i want to ask u go with me."
B then answered A that after A tried to wake B up and then went off to the toilet on his own, B suddenly had a dream which seemed so realistic, and he related his dream to A:
He dreamt that he was in the toilet overlooking everything (not as a person, but some sort of security camera that feeling), and then came A who urinated, after that, wanted to push open that cubicle's door..
Just as A opened the door and looked into the cubicle (of course nothing was seen by A), B from a security camera's view, saw a person, a female sitting on the toilet bowl, with bloodshot eyes, red clothings, aiya, all the scary descriptions u can imagine and think of..
She looked very angry as A opened the door, and she kept staring at A and wanted to reach for him but luckily he went off just before she can reach him..
She then reached out to the door and slowly closed it..
Lucky for A, if he had been late in getting out of the toilet, he might have been pulled in by that 'She' into don't where..
How come B can dream of A in the toilet and yet all the thing is so real..
Is it that B follow A to the toilet and saw what A did, just want to scare him off..

Ah Tong story:

During my days at BMT in Tekong, its said that 1 particular company, which my mild obese friends were in, was damn haunted one, of course not my coy..

1- Griffon Coy....
Griffon Coy was notorious and infamous back then, don't know now's what..
1 particular platoon's bunk, whenever a certain day or a certain week came, around 3am+ or exactly the 3am tat time, all the people living in that particular bunk would suddenly JUMP up, totally awaken from their sleep..
What my friend told me, was that they were being forced to wake up although he can't really recall what made or forced him and his other bunkmates up..
All woke up at the same time...

2- Unknown Coy ...
It was said that recruits are not allowed to bring in raw food, such as raw meat for example, into the bunk and/or stored into the individual closet/cupboard..
Once, there was a recruit who brought in meat of don't what, then in the wee hours at night, the whole cupboard was shaking so strong that woke up the entire platoon and company..
All of the bunkmates were so scared, they don't dare to enter the bunk again, and watched the cupboard shake with the other people from other platoons of the coy..
Whole thing stopped when dawn reaches, and the shaking stopped..
when they opened the cupboard, the platoon sergeant found raw meat inside, and immediately scolded the owner, after that incident, the people there don't dare to bring in any more raw meats to bunks ...

3- Cougar Coy ...
My company back when I was in my BMT period..
every morning when we woke up to do area cleaning, there would be a strand of long hair on 1 of the beds, sometimes throughout the week, same beds or different beds would have the hair, so long that its a females...
funny thing was that only males would be in the bunk and company...
Another would be the viewing of funny figures from the 5th floor by platoon 4..
Some would see figures at the stadium late at night when they walk along the corridor towards the toilet..

Dianel experience:BMTC School 1, 'G' company, 3 years ago..

We were in my bunk, Platoon 4(5th flr), Section 2, everybody from my platoon was in my bunk, cleaning our 'wives' and practicing for the technical handling test..
There was only about 20 odd people as most of the platoon got caught with the yellow fever bug and that time was SARS period, so Att C was like hotcakes..
My platoon sgt was conducting the session, so he was personally teaching this 'goon' because he just came back from 3 weeks Att C..
As we just came back from dinner, our bottles were all on the common table in the middle of the room..
This sgt had his back facing the table while teaching the 'goon' and everybody else was sitting on the floor between the beds or any available space in the bunk(quite spacious actually, LOL)..
Then suddenly, he shouted, "Who the f******* idiot threw it!?", all of us were stunned, because we were either talking to each other or busy with our 'wives'..
Apparently, one of the bottles hit him on the back, as he picked it up and started screaming at us asking who did it..
Suddenly, his facial expression changed drastically from angry to worried, then without a word, he ran out of the bunk and ever since then, he never came to my bunk, and from a noisy, demanding, vulgar sgt, he toned down and became, what we feel, not his self..
As to how and what actually happened, nobody knows why, except for 1 guy who was sitting opposite the sgt, claimed he saw the bottle flew and hit him..

Who make the bootle flew up itself and throw it at the sgt??
Is it one of the mate have physic power??
or is it 'that thing' make fun with the bottle

Told by Leo

1) It happened one of the night when I was in BMT (1995).
Due to too many people using public phone, me and my friend wait till midnight then 'sneaked' out to call.
When I was talking halfway through phone, my friend tapped my shoulder and tell me to see.
I saw a group of soldier marching at the parade square.
I thought all this people so 'siow on'.
then my friend tell me to look closer...
I then realised that all were wearing Japanese clothing...
We see each other, turned around and run...

2) As usual, we were training at Tekong area after we posted to ?SIR.
That night, we were 'walking' and preparing to 'attack' one of the hills.
Just then, a group of soldier passes by.
One of the officer asked my PC for direction.
After telling them, we go on as usual.
Next day, the PC's and OC were discussing on the 'attack' and my PC brought this up to my OC. My OC was 'stunned' and told my PC that beside us, no one else was trainning at that area...
or even that night....

3) This is I heard from one of my Primary School friend.
When he was 'admited' to ?SCE, he was told by one of the senior officer that the bunk next to their room, and told them no matter what noise they hear, do not go and peep....
Since then, every night the whole section people hear the noise.
But none dare to go see what's inside...
One night, my friend and another friend can't 'tahan' and went over to see.
They peep through the key hole and saw nothing.
The next day, they told the senior officer about it that they saw nothing but only red colour.
The officer then exclaimed "Ya... The 'thing' was peeping through the hole when u did..."
They both falls sick after that....

Who could be the Officer that ask for direction??
What thing was peeping through the hole when they did??

a few from jack pc n bunkmates as they usually don't sleep after lights out and talking such stories...
Jack was from orion coy bmtc sch 2 and there's a water tank in between his coy n ninja coy...
on the tank got a big chinese character "我" written on the tank..
can be seen but not very clear cause of sun and rain all..
heard from jack pc and ps that its done by a rec..
written that done with his blood and after that jump down to his death..
(its 5storeys high)...

the orion coy recreation room on lvl 2 will sometimes have their air-con on n off..
things not placed to their original position whenever they enter the room even though we tidied it the night before and noone enter it except them...

from orion also level 5(plt 4 sect 2)..
jack friend told him that he got 2 strange encounters...
once he woke up in the middle of the night he saw a dark figure wearing long 4 and beret standing at the side of bed 7(nearer to the window) and staring at his bunkmate sleeping on that bed..
the figure suddenly went bending down closer and closer to his bunkmate's face...
my friend was kind freaked out that he blinked his eyes,
not believing what he is seeing and at the split second, the figure is gone..
NOTHING!!
he got scared and went back sleep..
nothing really happened again until.....
again he woke up middle of the night again and he saw the similar figure AGAIN
but this time its outside his bunk corridor..
this time he is determined to find out "who" that was so he walk over to the door with the figure still there..
however when he opened the door, the figure had already went to the very end of the corridor..
next to section4..
he couldnt believe what he seen and again he blinked his eyes..
and again the figured disappeared just like that...
he wondered and jack wondered too..

another story was about jack friend's friend n his buddy..
that buddy of the friend was on ATTD C due to fever and thus went home already..
however that very night when the buddy was not around in bunk, the friend sleeping in the middle of the night got a nudge and heard his buddy calling him going toilet together..
as he was sleeping very soundly, he thus forgot his buddy was on ATTD C and followed..
after a while of waiting his "buddy", he got tired of it and asked, "hey buddy u done yet?"... however the reply was "are you sure i am ur buddy...?"
this is when he woke up from his half asleep mode and realise his buddy is at home and not in camp..
he went back hurriedly and quickly went back to sleep...

Who is the person that stand outside the corridor??
Who is the "buddy" that wake him up in the middle of the night!!!

This hapened during my BMT at Tracom.
A friend of mine had gone to the gym from my quarters at Alpha Coy which was beside the OCT building along with a few of the other squad mates.
He was feeling tired and came back to the coy earlier than the rest and asked around if anyone would go back with him.
No one else wanted to at that time and so he went back alone.
You'd have to walk past the carpark, up the hill, past the swimming pool and basketball court to get back to Alpha coy.
While he was walking back, he spotted a white figure in front of the staircase of the Alpha coy to the OB.
He didn't really pay heed to it and thought it was one of the FI's, so he kept on walking anyways. As he got nearer, he notice the person had very long hair down to the the waist.
Still thinking it was nothing, maybe a female FI, he continued on.
As he got closer, he smelt a weird pungent odour and the figure turned around facing him.
From what he told us, there was no face but some greenish light that seemed to glow from the "girl".
He ran back to the squad and looked kinda freaked out, panting and puffing away.
He got all worked up and spooked the entire squad.
That night, the entire squad chose to sleep in the same room on the floor.
Not all of us managed to sleep anyways.
Of the few who couldn't sleep, me included, swore that we smelt something sweet in the middle of the night.
That said, we just hid under our blankets and ignored everything that happened around us till the next day.

Why is that girl there where as it is a guy camp?

Told by Steven

i was in C coy plt 4 section 4 closest to toilet..
my plt mate in section 1 need to visit the toilet in the middle of the night..
so he got to walk pass section 2,3,4..
when he past section 2(second bunk)..
he notice there are 4 ppl sitting in the middle of the room in vest & slack(grey t-shirt with army word, army uniform pants and boots)..
he did not really care and continue with his visit..
Then second or third night..
in section 3, 2 of my plt mates were awoken by 2 of these vest & slack ppl..
they shake my plt mates to wake them..
1 of them sat up asking wat is it but was being pushed on the forehead being asked go back to sleep..
he said he couldn't see the face..
like 'nothing'..
all he could see was their attire..
it was 2 or 3 weeks later, when our PS gather us to talk, den they told the rest of us..
1 of them ask if the sergeants would do anything like this..
my PS replied no..
during tt talk..
my PS ask if any1 saw anything in the toilet..
no one saw anything, den he told us there were reports on sighting of a female being in the toilet.. he also told us tekong used to be a malay village..
that night..
everyone was so scare and went to bath and sleep early..

also heard other incidents happen during my bmt days..
but couldn't really recall them..
my only experience during then was..
if u all know how the bunk look like..
many of us had this sighting of an image in human colour 'walking' pass the windows..
naturally u will lift up ur head and see whos tt right?
but..
once u life up ur head..
there is no one walking pass the door..
(for those who dunno how the bunk look like.. is a corridor with 4 rooms on 1 side.. each room has a door in the center and windows on both side)
get the picture now?

now during my unit life..
i was in 5SIR..
SP coy..
heard from a Bcoy fren..
1 of the bunk in Bcoy, often there was a chair being dragged in the middle of the night..
for my incident..
i was outside of my bunk talking on the phone(all my bunk mates went for nights off except 1) when i heard some noises coming from inside the room..
noises of opening cupboard locks..
sounds of keys knocking against the metal cupboard..
and guess wat?
my bunkmates juz went toilet..

and now in brunei..
the La...... camp..
(dunno how to spell.. haha.)..
for those who been there and done exercises ard Mt Biang area should noe not to sleep across the ridge lines at night..
so there was this man in another coy..
he din care and sleep across the ridge line..
nothing happen to him that night..
but the next few days..
while walking in the mountains, the whole team could constantly hear laughter of a kid following them..
back in the camp at a particular night, another man was sitting quietly on his bed with his blanket covered over him while the rest of the company were talking, playing ard..
(we live in long wooden houses with old type double deck beds)..
his frens notice him and call him but he no reply..
so they tried to pull the blanket off him..
but they could grab but not being able to lift the blanket..
so they call for their sgts and they crowd ard this guy..
suddenly he starts to scream and all of them freak out and ran out of the house..
shortly after that..
my CO, the 4 Ss and other big shot went to the house..
the guy was still the same and was later brought to the medical center..
no idea wat happen to him after tt..
